Are cities good or bad for the environment?

Taking into account the fact that a lot of people use cars in the city and those cars produce emissions, one can quite easily assume that cities are quite bad for the environment. However, everything is not that obvious.

To specify, the production of meat causes more harm for the environment than driving a car. Even though it may be hard to believe, this is a fact. The most important thing to remember in this respect is that it does not really matter where one lives as long as one does at least something for the environment. One can recycle, be an urban farmer, switch to an electric car or go vegan. All these actions count. In case you are serious about it, there are tons of ways in which you can help the planet. You just need to take the first step. What is more, it does not matter whether you live in a big city or in a village. There is always something one can do to keep the planet clean.
